Taylor Swift has become a rare pop phenomenon: A superstar who crossed over completely from the world of country music to pop culture, becoming an iconic pop star that is set to endure forever, and sweeping over all of the world. Swift shed the country influences in the sense that they had been added as an extra layer of skin. In the three subsequent albums the three albums that followed -- Red 2012, 1989 2014 along with Reputation 2017. Swift's success only grew. It was a clear sign she had moved to a new pop world that she could be part of. Her popularity grew even after she changed her strategy in 2020's more streamlined siblings Folklore (and Evermore) and stayed in the forefront of pop culture.
