Sheryl Underwood, an American comedian, host of a TV show and actor best known for hosting the popular daytime talk show The Talk. Sheryl Underwood, born in Arkansas was raised in Arkansas between Little Rock and Atwater. Sheryl lives in a family that is turbulent. She was a lot of her life caring for Frankie. Frankie suffered from an illness called polio. She faced a lot of problems with her mother as she was growing to. Sheryl stated that at one point her mother had stabbed an uncle of her daughter due to the fact that she was getting close to him. Sheryl joined military after graduating from the college. But her passion was comedy. In 1989 she was the first female to make it to the finals in the Miller Lite Comedy Search contest. She launched her TV work in 1992 by having a frequent appearance as a comedian on HBO's comedy show Def Comedy Jam. In 2000, she hosted the show Oh Drama! In 2011, she's co-hosting the Talk show. In addition, she has been a fictional character in shows such as Bulworth Nicki as well as Beauty Shop.
