Sheryl Underwood is a comic, television host, and performer from the United States. She is best known for her part as the Talk's co-host on the daytime. Sheryl Underwood was born in Arkansas was raised in Arkansas among Little Rock and Atwater. Sheryl has a turbulent family. She spent most her childhood looking after her sibling Frankie. Frankie was a polio sufferer. She was in trouble with her mother while growing to. Sheryl states that in one instance her mother stabbed her father due to him getting too close to her. Sheryl joined the military upon her graduation from college. However, her love for comedy was always there. In 1989, she became the first female to make it to the finals of the Miller Lite Comedy Search contest. She started her TV career in 1992 when she was a regular performer for the HBO comedy show Def Comedy Jam. The show was hosted by her Oh Drama! in 2000. She has appeared as host of The Talk since 2011. In addition, she has a fictional role on series such Bulworth and Nikki as well as Beauty Shop.
