Sheryl Underwood, a American comedian and television host best known as the host for The Talk, a popular talk show on daytime television. Sheryl Underwood, born in Arkansas, was raised between Little Rock and Atwater. Sheryl is from a troubled family. Sheryl was raised by her sister Frankie. Frankie had suffered from Polio. As she grew older it was not easy to get along with her mom. Sheryl alleges that, in an instance when her mother stabbed her father when he became too close to her. Sheryl was a college graduate when she was drafted into the military. Her passion was comedy. She was selected as the first woman to be a finalist in the Miller Lite Comedy Search, held in 1989. Her TV career when she was a frequent performer at the HBO Comedy Show Def Comedy Jam in 1992. She hosted the television show Oh Drama! in 2000. She is currently a guest co-host for Talk Talk since 2011. She has also been the fictional character in TV shows like Bulworth Nicki as well as Beauty Shop.
