Harry Edward Styles (also known as Harry Styles in the music world) is an British composer and musician and. Harry Styles was one among the founders of One Direction. His parents include Des Styles and Anne Cox. The couple were born on the 1st of February, 1994, in Holmes Chapel, Cheshire. Harry Styles studied at the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School which is where he formed his own band, composed of 3 schoolmates, which he called White Eskimo. They were the winners of the Battle of Bands in 2009, thanks to their outstanding performances. In spite of always having been a fan of music, He also wished to become the next lawyer or physiotherapist. In order to support the needs of his children, he worked an hour or so working at a bakery. The year was 2010. Harry Styles presented audition for The X Factor where he did the track Is not She Lovely by Stevie Wonder and was selected. This is why his band broke up. Nicole Scherzinger proposed to Harry Styles to be a part of a brand new group, One Direction. The other members were Liam Payne Zayn Mallik Niall Horan Louis Tomlinson. The creation of the group took place in the year 2010, and the five youngsters were funded by Simon Cowell. They sang Kelly Clarkson's My Life Would Be Sucky without You and Bonnie Tyler's Total Eclipse of the Heart in the competition, which allowed them to become the top contenders for winning the contest. However, they came in third, just behind Rebecca Ferguson. Harry Styles did not receive a prize, however Cowell has offered a two million-pound contract with One Direction in order for the group to be a part of Syco Records.
