Arianna Huffington

Arianna Stassinopoulos Huffington (Greek American) is a Greek American writer, syndicated-columnist and businesswoman. She is a co-founder of The Huffington Post the founder and CEO of Thrive Global and the author of 15 books. Arianna Huffington is a journalist, TV personality writer, philanthropist, and philanthropist for more than ten years. Her role also includes being the proprietor of The Huffington Post, an independently-liberal online newsmagazine. Originally from Greece she moved to England when she was sixteen and then was able to graduate from Cambridge University with an MA in Economics. The famous debating society The Cambridge Union was her first president and she took it at the age of 21. The success of her conservative columnist was consolidated after she graduated. After the launch of The Huffington Post a few year later, she established an online voice portal that offered critiques of the politics. It was her celebrity that has led to the attraction of many prominent contributors to share their opinions on the news political, culture and politics. Arianna rose to fame when she made the decision to run independently for the California recall election to replace then Governor Davis. Additionally, she was involved in a Detroit-based project that promoted fuel-efficient automobiles. Forbes listed her as one of the "most powerful female" within the field of media and ranked her 12th. Guardian placed her on their list of 100 most influential media people in 2009. AOL Inc. bought The Huffington Post, and she became president of this media group. The acquisition included a number of AOL properties at the time such as Engadget AOL style list and Patch Media. Their parents are Elli as well as Konstantinos Stasinopoulos. They were who was a consultant in management as well as a journalist. While she was close with her father, the relationship she had to her mom was the defining factor in the remainder of her life. As a child she demonstrated leadership skills that she still is known for. When she was 16, she moved from America to the United Kingdom and enrolled Girton College Cambridge. As a student and was in Cambridge Union, she joined the colleges debating societies, which she later became the first female and foreign president. In 1972, she earned the degree of Master in Economics. She was a journalist television host, and a columnist after her graduation. Her appearance in Face the music with Bernard Levin was also noteworthy. She began to write books, taking his help in editing.
