April Ross
April Ross was one of the few female beach volleyball players who have won medals during multiple Olympics. Alix-Klineman is set to compete alongside April Ross in Tokyo in order to claim her third gold in the next few days. Ross's aim is to get her first Olympic Gold. Since she's 39 years old, it may be her last chance. Nevertheless she is confident that the top awards are within reach. If we perform at our very highest or perform well, I think we'll win the gold medal Ross declared on NBC Boston. In addition, I'll try the chance to have chances. Ross born August 22nd, 1982 in Costa Mesa California. She resided there with her family. At Newport Harbor High School, she was a participant in many activities. Being a pre-athlete, she also played indoor volleyball and track. In her final game, she clearly stood out. Her college biography states that she was an outside-hitting hitter middle blocker and setter throughout her volleyball time at high school. As a tribute to her efforts, she received the Gatorade Award for the National Player of 1999. Additionally, in 2000, she was recognized as the Orange County Athlete of the Year for volleyball. Ross and Klineman have been doing what they do since 2017. However, Ross was a major player on the beach volleyball circuit before joining the duo. In fact, she won several major championships while playing with two different partners, one of which is a volleyball icon. She teamed up along with Jennifer Kessy from 2007-2013, and also was Klineman's trainer. Together, Kessy Ross was an ace in the world circuit, winning a world title in 2009. At the 2012 Olympic Games, they received the gold medal. Misty Maytreanor (Jennings) as well as Misty Maytreanor won gold, overtaking them. Ross Jennings replaced May-Treanor as she left the team. They won the bronze medal in beach volleyball at the Rio Olympics 2016. Ross was a player for the USC Trojans in college years after she graduated the high school she attended. Ross's time in the Trojans was amazing. The year 2000 was her freshman year. was when she won the Pac-10 and NCAA Freshman of the Year awards and be an All-American. The Trojans had the chance to make it to the Final Four with her help. Her personal life was tense after a devastating loss in her sophomore, yet was capable of achieving the All-American distinction. Over the course of the two years she played for the Trojans they helped win consecutive championships. She was a great player on the court, and was awarded the Honda Sports Award in 2003-04 as the most outstanding female college volleyball player. Ross was a student of the study of international relations in USC. Margie Ross did not see her daughter reach the top of beach volleyball. In 2001 when Ross was in her sophomore year studying at USC her mother died of breast cancer. However, she keeps her parents close to her the heart. Margie, on the beach and in daily life, inspires her.
